About Bill Neff

Bill Neff has spent a lifetime in various forms of communication-- mostly in radio broadcasting (on-air and production for syndication) and writing.

Bill grew up in Lancaster, Pennyslvania. After graduating from college (Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois), he returned to Lancaster, PA and took his first radio job on the weekends at WPTG-FM. Later that station changed its format and its call letters to WJTL (FM 90.3), and became one of the first 24-hour, Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) stations in the United States. Bill became the morning DJ and spawned "The Wake & Shake Show"-- a favorite with WJTL listeners. Later Bill was hired full-time to be WJTL's Program Director, and eventually became the Station Manager. All of these positions helped Bill to develop his communications skills-- on-the-air with listeners, in the office with staff, and off the air at local community events.

In 1992, Bill left beautiful Lancaster County PA to attend graduate school in Orlando, Florida (also beautiful... but a LOT hotter!).  While at Reformed Theological Seminary, Bill met Dr. R. C. Sproul, a nationally known theologian and conference speaker, and began working for R.C.'s non-profit organization, Ligonier Ministries.  Bill was instrumental in helping to launch a nationally-syndicated radio program called Renewing Your Mind. He began as writer, then announcer, and eventually oversaw the entire program production process as the Director of Radio Programming.  The daily 26-minute radio program, Renewing Your Mind, grew to air on a network of over three hundred (300) radio facilities and outlets across the United States and around the world.

In 2004, Bill and his family moved back to Lancaster, PA to become the Director of Sales & Marketing for a family business in Lancaster County. This has provided Bill with a break from the "radio biz" per se, and has allowed him to apply his communication skills more directly to marketing and sales.

Around the same time, he established his own audio production and media representation business, Neff Communications. He produces a daily radio program "short feature" (3 minutes) for Morning & Evening Ministries, Inc. which airs on more than twenty (20) radio stations nationwide.

In 2008, Bill was approached by Dr. Patrick Morley of
Man in the Mirror (a national mens discipleship ministry) to produce a daily (M-F) 60-second radio short-feature to be aired on radio stations across the country. It began airing in May 2008 on 48 radio facilities and outlets in the Moody Broadcasting Network (MBN) and is now distributed to more than 250 radio entities nationwide.
